Inspired by a sense of challenge, our 1,900 people work across five offices across the UK to do what’s right for our members and customers. We look to make a valuable contribution to society, working with third party intermediaries and brokers to provide our members and customers with the very best life and pension products - every time.

Always curious and always learning, teams are united across locations by their desire to stay ahead of the competition and their anticipation for the future. Their hard work and commitment is the reason why 1,100,000 members trust us to look after their insurance needs - but we’re not stopping there. We have ambitious plans for the future, so we're always looking for more talented people to join us across the country.

Life and Pensions in Bournemouth

Vibrant and full of variety, our Head Office in Bournemouth is made up of two neighbouring buildings – Frizzell House and Victoria House. Home to a range of teams, from Marketing to Finance, here, our people go out of their way every day to delight our customers – supporting each other all the way.

The scope and scale of the work we do here means there are loads of rewarding opportunities, making it an ideal place to progress your career. Across Marketing, IT, Customer Service, Actuarial, Finance, Legal and a range of other functions, teams collaborate here to make great things happen. There’s a real buzz about the office and a great culture full of inquisitive, curious people. With an onsite gym, colourful breakout areas, a tasty café and onsite restaurant, you’ll find everything you need here in our biggest office. What’s more, we’ve also got our very own Wellbeing Room - a dedicated space for quiet relaxation, prayer, breastfeeding, medical requirements and other wellbeing-related activities. 

And if you want to venture a little further, there are plenty of shops and restaurants (many of which offer our people a discount) in easy reach and you’re a short distance away from the seaside, if you fancy lunch on the beach. Lively, vibrant and full of character, Bournemouth itself is a brilliant place to be. The town centre has shops, cinemas and bars to suit every taste and lots of exciting different events happening throughout the year. We love it here – and we’re sure you will too.

Life and Pensions in Cardiff

On the doorstep of the buzzing city centre and just one road away from the main high street, you’ll find our Cardiff office. The working culture and atmosphere here is just as lively and social as the city that surrounds it. So whether your career’s just kicking off or you’re keen to develop it further, our Cardiff office is an ideal place to learn and grow.

Full of ambition and anticipation, there’s a lot to smile about here. The collaborative, energetic nature is infectious and people across Sales, Sales Support and Customer Experience all work closely together to provide outstanding customer service. Open plan and fully equipped with a kitchenette, lounge areas, meeting rooms, a boardroom and hot desks, there’s plenty of room to accommodate visitors and build great working relationships. 

When the teams aren’t busy making customers smile, they’re likely to be celebrating a birthday, enjoying a Friday get-together or taking part in a community charity or fundraising event. Most years, they dedicate their time and efforts to raising money for Children in Need. With its super central location on Greyfriars Road, you’ll find lots of places to eat, drink and enjoy nearby. Although there is no onsite parking, there are parking spots nearby, a local park and ride, two train stations a short walk away and good bus connections on the office’s doorstep.

Life and Pensions in Exeter

With a picture-perfect landscape and a lively culture, Exeter is a great place to live and work. It’s also base for a number of our teams – from Change, Innovation and Operations (CIO) to Claims and New Business. With incredible career prospects, a great atmosphere and an onsite gym, it’s no surprise our people are smiling. 

Inclusive through and through, our people are encouraged to bring their full selves to work – and every single opinion is respected and valued. What’s more, the open plan nature of the office makes it a brilliant place to build a rewarding career. Not only can you get to know everyone but it’s also easy to collaborate with other departments and experience what they do. With Change, Innovation and Operations (CIO) based here, some of our most innovative, challenging work happens in Exeter – and sharing of ideas is really encouraged in an open, supportive culture. Teams often get together for training sessions in one of the dedicated training rooms or for a catch-up in the spacious glass atrium. 

You’ll find us based in a business park just off the motorway and the office boasts great views over Exeter. When the weather’s not so great, you can grab a coffee, hang out in one of our breakout areas, enjoy our free WiFi or have a friendly game of table tennis with a work colleague. If you’re looking for somewhere to relax, we’ve also got our very own Wellbeing Room - a dedicated space for prayer, breastfeeding, medical requirements and other wellbeing-related activities. Or, if fitness is your thing, you’ll find our on-site gym is fully-equipped for walkers, runners and cyclists – with a drying room for your wet clothes and lockers if you need them. It’s also got everything you need to get ready for a night out straight from work. If that wasn’t enough, we also have a great online fresh food delivery service which is brought straight to you. And throughout the year, we host a number of fun social activities including everything from local food markets to big awards events.

Life and Pensions in Hitchin

Based right in the town centre and surrounded by beautiful parkland and river, our Hitchin office offers the best of both worlds. With its stimulating environment and great support, you can enjoy a breadth of career opportunities all under one roof. 

Over 400 of our friendly, hard-working Life and Pensions team are based in beautiful Hitchin. As well as the Sales and Service talents working here, there are Marketing people, IT Support people and a number of other smaller teams – all collaborating to go above and beyond for our customers. Our Life and Pensions business in Hitchin is made up of two office buildings, both open plan and sharing a sociable and supportive atmosphere. The facilities here are good and on lunch breaks, you’ll typically find team members in the LV= Bite restaurant which is famous for its special menus at different occasions throughout the year. 

On sunnier days, the office is in the perfect central spot for a riverside lunchtime picnic, a wander around the nearby shops or a bite in one of the local cafes. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs in short walking distance where teams enjoy socialising together after a day/week at work. While parking is limited, there are coach and bus links close by and a main train station running a good line between Peterborough and London. As well as enjoying a fairly stress-free commute, you can be in central London in under half an hour. If you’re a people person who thrives on the buzz of making customers smile and wants to develop a challenging career, you’ll fit in perfectly in our Hitchin office.

A newly-refurbished working space for both growing and established businesses across a variety of sectors, our modern and bright London office close to Waterloo couldn’t be easier to get to. Based in Capital Tower, with an entrance to Waterloo Station providing easy access to underground and rail, commuting here is easy and working here is inspiring. 

Home to unique conference rooms, a kitchen and dining area, access to onsite showers and bike storage – you’ll find everything you need in this vibrant environment. Did we mention we’ve access to a roof terrace? What’s more, if you fancy getting going out for a stroll at lunchtime, you’re minutes away from the restaurants and bars on the South Bank.
