In an exciting time of change at LV=, the Broker Marketing Team are ahead of the game keeping everyone engaged and informed. In the role of Comms & Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll lead the team that delivers our B2B multi-channel communication & digital engagement strategy, that’s aligned with LV=’s brand and supports the overall business strategy.

You’ll develop and deliver LV= Broker’s B2B multi-channel engagement strategy that embraces new ways of working and innovative thinking, establishing LV= Broker as a leading market player.

Key to this role is demonstrating a proven track record of managing and delivering B2B campaigns with a digital first approach, communications supporting key business projects and collaborating with business stakeholders. Together with the Creative and Events team, you’ll contribute to a shared creative work space on all things B2B marketing.

This role is based from the Brentwood office a minimum of 2 days a week with some flexibility with working arrangements to accommodate individual requirements. You’ll lead by example and embody the LV= values as a positive mentor to your team. This is a great opportunity to join LV= and make a real impact, allowing your people management, communications and digital marketing skills to shine.

The role will be working 35hrs a week but for the right applicant we can also consider a reduced working pattern of a minimum of 4 days a week. 

What are we looking for?

You’re a people person, organised and creative able to manage multiple projects and a busy workload. With both sides of the brain working, you’re creative and innovative but also able to interpret data and MI to make informed decisions. You’ve a proven track record of delivering innovative communications plans with a creative and analytical mind. 

You’ve substantial (three years plus) experience managing a multi-channel marketing and communications team, ideally within financial services and a proven track record within a digital marketing environment, including email, web, social media and analytical tools.

You’re experienced delivering marketing campaigns using an email marketing platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience desirable, and a brilliant copywriter and proof-reader with a keen eye for detail and ability to distil information to be communicated to a variety of audiences. 

You enjoy working with people, have excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with key stakeholders at all levels and passionate about delivering exceptional customer-focused experiences and outcomes. 

You’ve had experience managing a team of your own: devising workflows, positively mentoring your reports, and improving the skills, behaviours and impact of a team.  

But now you’re looking for a new challenge! You want to lead a team in a national leading insurer and have the ambition to join at a time of change where you can steer direction. 

Ideally, you’ll be A Level qualified standard and have CIM Post-Graduate Diploma.

What will you be doing?

You’ll need to: 

  • Communication and Digital Marketing Strategy - develop and deliver LV= Broker’s B2B multi-channel engagement strategy that embraces new ways of working and innovative thinking, establishing LV= Broker as a leading market player.
  • Marketing Campaigns - collaborate with key stakeholders to design, deliver and evaluate marketing campaigns that support business growth and development plans.
  • Internal Communication – deliver high quality and engaging internal communication, making sure our people feel informed and valued.
  • External Communication – deliver high quality and engaging external communication that build long-term relationships and supports business growth for us and our broker partners.
  • Digital & Data First Approach – lead the digital marketing team to maximise the use of existing and new digital marketing channels (e.g. email, web, social and virtual events), data and insight to deliver engaging, targeted and personalised experiences.
  • Stakeholder Management – build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, across the business at all levels, in order to understand the business strategy, share insight, plan and deliver creative marketing solutions.
  • Line Management – lead, coach and develop the Communication and Digital team.
  • Knowledge & Innovation – keep abreast of the competitor landscape and be curious in identifying and delivering new and innovative solutions, ensuring continuous improvement and regularly challenging the status quo.
  • Ad-hoc Projects – project manage and deliver other ad-hoc marketing projects and activities as required.
  • Deputise for Broker Marketing Director in their absence.
