As a Project Manager with application assessment and packaging experience, you’ll be joining LV=GI at a period of growth and exciting changes. As part of the Workplace transformation and alignment programmes, you’ll be working on the IT and Application workstreams.
Collaborating with others in an Agile way, you’ll be assessing the ‘as is’ application or data estate for compatibility to move to the new group workplace solutions. You’ll identify the applications needing remediating, designing the remediation path, and helping us identify dual run costs. Together with the business functions, you’ll identify the end-user apps to create a central register.
Some of the application packaging resources we use are in-house and with on and offshore third parties, so part of your role will be to keep processes efficient and consistent. Your role will include organising user acceptance testing and remediation for all web-based, EUC and packaged applications against the workplace solutions.
There are two 12 month FTC roles available to support our project, Whilst on a fixed term contract you’ll receive all the benefits you see below the same as permanent employees.
What are we looking for?
With several years’ experience as an IT or Technical Project Manager, you’ll be used to working with application management and packaging. Any experience working on aligning disparate parts of businesses during their expansion or changes would also be useful here: familiar with collaborating with stakeholders across different entities and departments.
Ideally you’ll have worked within agile frameworks before, and used to cross-functional collaboration and managing those relationships to ensure consistency of approach with different entities, third parties and both on and off-shore teams.
As a confident communicator and manager, you’ll lead from the front, organising and delivering projects with an IT and/or alignment focus.
You’ll be looking for a senior programme where you can come in and make a big impact over the next 12 months, with the scope for extension and seeing it through to completion, adding two of the largest names in insurance to your CV: Allianz and LV=GI.
