About the role

LV= GI has an exciting opportunity for a Benefits and Pension Partner to join the Reward team at their Head office in Bournemouth.

You’ll be responsible for the management of LV=’s flexible benefits offering, including benefits broking and procurement, the management of third party suppliers and targeted communications. Alongside this, you’ll analyse the benefits market, to ensure LV= remains competitive in the market.

The successful individual will work closely with the Senior Reward and Benefits Manager in the design and delivery of the pensions initiatives for the GI business,  providing technical and operational support to LV= GI’s pension arrangements.

About you

Ideally you’ll have experience of working within a Benefits and Pensions department where you’ll already have an understanding of the benefits market and proven track record of managing 3rd party suppliers.  You’ll have excellent communication skills along with the commercial acumen to influence in a complex business environment at different levels with both internal and external stakeholders. 

Through this role you’ll have sight of confidential information in relation to employees’ benefits choices, so it goes without saying that you will be trusted to remain confidential with the information you have access too. You’ll be managing a number of projects and enquiries at any one time, so you’ll need to have strong project management skills to be able to manage a large number of competing priorities whilst maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy.

Details

  • Management of LV= GI’s flexible benefits plan, including ensuring that those who deal with employee queries have the appropriate tools and knowledge to enable them to do so.

  • Project management of annual benefits renewal. 

  • To be responsible for all benefit processes within LV= GI, ensuring they are delivered in a timely and efficient manner, making sure the processes are clearly defined and documented (end-to-end), with effective measurement and risk controls.

  • Account management of services provided by third party benefit suppliers to ensure best value for money and efficient service delivery

  • Drive continuous improvement of the benefit processes to ensure that they are delivered in the most resource efficient manner along with regularly reviewing our benefits offering to ensure it remains appropriate, accessible and understood.

  • Mange the delivery of communications relating to benefits to ensure that managers and employees fully understand the benefits package and appreciate its value.

  • Be the benefits subject matter expert for LV= GI with a strong knowledge of the external market and how it applies to LV= GI.

  • To be a point of expertise for LV= GI benefits and to provide training and support to HR colleagues.

  • Be the first point of pensions expertise within LV=.
  • Working with the Reward & Benefits Manager ensure that the excellent governance of LV= GI’s pension arrangements is maintained.

  • Manage the delivery of the pension arrangements, including third party pension administrators and advisers

  • Manage, support, co-ordinate, drive and effectively deliver pensions projects, in particular the annual benefits statements

  • Support the Reward & Benefits Manager in the delivery of strategic pensions advice and initiatives to LV= GI, to drive continuous improvement in our pension processes in response to feedback

  • Continue to build knowledge of the external environment using this to help support business needs. Keep up to date with changes to regulation and legislation.
  • Support the development and delivery of communication strategies to promote the benefits of the pension arrangements, helping to ensure that our managers and employees fully understand our pension offering and appreciate its value.
