About the role
LV= have a great opportunity for an experienced Scrum Master to join their Tech Delivery team in Hitchin. You’ll plan and manage a range of business change projects within the Life Retirement Solutions Tech Delivery area, this could include business and application change, back office and customer journey change.
You’ll be responsible for the daily management of a scrum team within an Agile Delivery Framework. You’ll use your knowledge and experience to organise and facilitate project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews and sprint & release planning as well as scrum-related meetings.
You’ll be working on medium or large scale projects, which could exceed £500k in value and will therefore have good visibility and impact across the business.
We’re looking for an experienced IT project manager/scrum master who is used to leading medium sized projects, ideally within the financial services industry. Any exposure to application change would be desirable. Ideally you would also have Agile Software Development experience within FS.
You should be able to demonstrate your knowledge and application of the full project lifecycle and how you have worked within this in a corporate environment.
We’re looking for a self-starter and someone who works well in an autonomous environment. You should also be able to demonstrate your strong relationship management skills.
You’ll have experience of dealing with senior stakeholders, and have excellent communication and negotiation skills to help build relationships quickly. A passion to succeed and the ability to motivate teams are a must. You must have a character that positively influences your colleagues and helps drive the same motivation and energy from others.
