Ever wondered what our Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) get up to? We asked them all about their experience working in one of the biggest areas of our business. Day-to-day they build relationships with our customers as they deal with a wide range of queries and requests, solving issues and providing excellent customer service. But, what do they enjoy most about their role?
Helping a wide variety of people
For Sian, the variety of calls every day is fantastic: “I love talking to different people every day – I’ve been here for over four years now and I don’t feel like I’m in a repetitive job role at all! It’s also great that you’re able to progress thanks to the excellent support from peers and managers.”
Likewise Gill, who joined LV= in April 2016, loves the fact that LV= prioritises providing relevant training and ongoing support: “We’re given all the knowledge and tools to do a great job, which makes such a difference in the enjoyment of the role – many companies say they do this but unfortunately don’t always achieve it. LV= walks the walk and genuinely prioritises this!”
Development and career prospects
Having been with us for almost four years, James explains why he enjoys working at LV=. “I like working with a wide range of people as part of the training/buddying team. I regularly get to support our new CSRs and help them in their development which gives me a real sense of job satisfaction! I’ve also found that the role has made me much more confident and given me the opportunity to take my career development prospects into my own hands.”

Claire explains that the people, benefits and flexibility really add to the enjoyment of her experience as a CSR: “The variety of calls and the challenge involved in working with customers and making them happy is very satisfying for me.” And having been at LV= for over 10 years, she should know!
