Our customers are of the upmost importance to us and we pride ourselves on delivering great service. We handle every single claim with care and attention and to protect our customers and our assets, we have a dedicated Claims Crime Prevention Team for anything that looks a little bit dodgy! As Team Leader in CCPT, I’m responsible for looking after a team that investigate motor claims which have been flagged as potentially fraudulent. I also help with our strategy and review some of the higher value files and all cases that might be coming up to trial. When a case is a referred to us as being suspicious, we work hard to investigate it quickly. Why? Because we don’t want our genuine customers having their claims delayed and validating genuine claims early can save the company money following the new LASPO guidelines.
My team has had many successes this year with role progression, meeting our target savings and also winning Commercial Team of the Year at The Claims Awards! Our work helps protect the company so we have a big challenge on our hands. But it’s hugely rewarding and there’s a really positive buzz in the office. We’re all committed to our genuine customers and passionate about fighting fraud. There’s no better feeling than getting a result on a case and saving the company money. That’s what makes it such an exciting area of the business to work in – you can constantly see the impact of your work. Although I’d worked in a similar role before in a financial organisation, LV= is different.
