Working in Customer Service, you’ll help customers to look after the things they love in life and we’ll help you shine in your career.
Customer Service is the biggest area of our business – and, in our opinion, one of the very most important ones. We have two different functions: Life (pensions, retirement plans, savings and life insurance) and General Insurance (motor, travel, home, pet and even commercial insurance for small-medium businesses). While the products are different, the top-level customer service is the same across both. Whether you join us in a Customer Service Representative or Claims role, you’ll be valued, supported and given all the tools you need to wow the people who contact us.
We’ll train and empower you to build relationships with customers as you deal with a wide range of queries and requests - and help will only ever be a few seats away. Day-to-day, your role will be varied and never dull. On one call, you could be helping a customer find a new policy that's just right for them and the next, resolving a complex issue for someone and helping to change their mind if they're thinking about leaving. Friendly and proactive, you’ll make sure that every customer ends up feeling that they’ve had a fantastic LV= experience.
There’s a really friendly, sociable, supportive culture in Customer Service where everyone works hard but enjoys themselves along the way. We’ll get you started off with a full induction and an initial training programme, and the support and development won’t stop there. In each function, we have dedicated progression schemes in place to help you make the next step. You’ll also enjoy opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and monthly one-to-ones with Team Leaders or Managers to help you steer your career in the way you want it to go. Instead of being heavily target-based, success here is measured on the experience you offer customers and how you make them feel - with great rewards for a job well done. You’ll look after customers brilliantly and we’ll look after your career.
