Group Company Secretariat. Working in Group Company Secretariat, every day is different. Here, we provide professional support and advice to the Board and the business on ‘best in class’ corporate governance – hence our motto, ‘Partner to the Business, Partner to the Board’. The role of the Secretariat team covers so much more than just administration of Board & Committee meetings (of which there are over 100 each year). We ensure compliance with all applicable corporate legislation and regulation, including the Listing Rules, as well as the Group’s constitution, internal rules and governance practices, which we keep regularly reviewed and updated.
Secretariat is a vital bridge between the Executive Management and the Board of Directors. As a result, working here means you have an opportunity to advise and influence at the very highest levels of the LV= Group. You’ll be encouraged and supported to develop professional qualifications in company law and corporate governance.
