Volunteering at LV= GI
We love getting out, doing good and lending a hand to our local communities. That’s why everyone who works here gets up to 20 hours a year to spend volunteering. From helping out at the local animal shelter to raising money for a cause close to your heart, or supporting our company charity partner, Family Action. How you choose to spend your volunteering hours is completely up to you.
Giving Back
We're extremely proud to say LV= General Insurance have won the 2023 Pennies from Heaven Platinum Award. The initiative donates the odd pennies from our employee’s net monthly pay to good causes. Pennies from Heaven collected its first penny in 1999 and has now raised £7m for over 800 charities. We’re glad to be part of such an amazing scheme!
Our people and their stories
I feel like I've only scratched the surface of my career at LV= GI. Now I've completed my apprenticeship, there are so many new things to try and lots more opportunities to expand my knowledge.
We’re committed to building a really strong leadership team where our people fully trust and believe in us. So they feel much more inspired to be open, honest, and engaged as well.
Traditional Data Science teams can be very siloed; but at LV= GI we've got a collaborative working model. Our people pull together - within the team and across the wider business too.
