Claims at LV= GI

Whether it’s their pet, their home or their car, our Claims teams are on hand to support our customers when something goes wrong. Helping them get back to normal as quickly as possible, our teams use their initiative to find solutions that work for both our customers and our business. From initial call to completion, they make sure everyone they speak to has a seamless and stress-free claims experience.

Collaborating, thinking outside the box and supporting each other with new ideas, our Claims teams are tight-knit and at the top of their game. Every call is different, and no two days the same – that’s why it’s such an exciting place to be. Direct Claimant

This team contact the innocent party and offer a service that is just as good as the one we’d offer to our own customers, offering advice on vehicle repairs, hire requirements or injury claims.

Personal Injury

This team will manage and settle incoming personal injury claims from claimants or Third-Party Representatives against our customers insurance policy.

Claims Dispute Resolution

The Claims Dispute Resolution teams review claims when the liability is unclear. Putting customers at the heart of everything they do, they’ll negotiate a resolution in the best interests of our customers.

Claims Resolution

The Claims Resolution teams review existing claims that are deemed our responsibility and look to settle any costs associated with other Insurers.

Recovery

The Recovery team deal with other Insurers and recover any costs LV= GI incur after a ‘non-fault’ incident.

Crime Prevention

It’s this team’s job to investigate, review and detect any claims which we may deem questionable and/or suspicious.

Motor AD Claims

This team will work to understand, guide, and solve our customers initial needs when they call to report an accident. This could include support, capturing data and arranging vehicle hires or repairs.

Home Claims

This team will assist and support customers with any buildings or contents claims, whether that's cash settling directly or using LV= GI or our customers own suppliers to reach a quick and easy settlement.

Technical Claims

Covering motor and home claims, this team are skilled technical experts in their relative areas and handle or settle claims that have extremely high value and potential risk.

Engineering

Our engineering team assess damage to the customers’ vehicles and third-party vehicles. This could be in the field or via desk assessments to determine if they should be repaired or replaced.
