Meet Hayley Leach, Claims Senior Customer Service Representative

We met with Hayley Leach, Claims Senior Customer Service Representative who told us more about herself and her time at LV=:
While I was on maternity leave, I decided I wanted a career change and joined LV= as Customer Service Advisor in 2015 when my son was seven months old and was promoted into my current role last year. Before this I used to manage a retail store.
My day-to-day role varies and there’s always lots to get stuck into.
I’m one of the main points of support for our claims team. This involves a broad range of tasks such as supporting our customers at claim stage, conducting interviews as well as coaching and developing our team.
The role is very busy and keeps me on my toes every day.
I work hard to be very transparent with my team in terms of the upcoming agenda so everyone knows what needs to be achieved for our customers. I really enjoy supporting my team members to deliver great service for our claimants along with seeing them develop within their role.
What other role within LV= could you see yourself doing?
I could definitely see myself within a customer services team manager role at LV=. I absolutely love coaching and developing my team, seeing their success and assisting with their development. I’m a real people person and I like to think I’m motivational which will only help develop our teams further to support our customers and members.
For a work meeting, what’s your drink of choice?
I absolutely love Ribena - pineapple and passionfruit squash at any time of year. I do love however a cappuccino when it’s cold!
Outside work, what do you enjoy doing?
I love to spend time with my family and friends.
