Robin Wheeler, Customer Service Representative, tells us about his role at LV= and what gives him the most satisfaction. Robin has been part of the ‘LV= family’ for around five years.
What does your day-to-day role look like?
My day is always varied. I deal with a wide variety of customer questions and requests. I help our customers and advisers as much as I can by answering their incoming phone queries.
What advice would you give someone looking to do a job like yours?
Go for it! Working as part of a team and helping lots of customers every day gives you great satisfaction. If you enjoy helping others and feeling like a part of the family, LV= is your place. Be open to learning new things and don’t be so hard on yourself for not knowing something, someone is always there to lend a hand.
What have you enjoyed most in your role so far?
Learning more about the industry and making new friends at work.

If you had any other role at LV=, what would it be?
I could see myself doing most roles within LV=. There are always opportunities to learn something new and the business always supports and guides you on your career path.
For a work meeting, what’s your drink of choice?
A lovely warming hot chocolate.
Outside work, what do you enjoy doing?
I spend a lot of time in the kitchen baking and trying out new recipes, but I am also a total geek and love to spend some downtime on my PS5.
