Role Description

Are you passionate about people and fraud? We are looking for a dynamic individual who can lead teams through continual change to detect, disrupt and prevent application fraud.

Proactively leading, motivating and coaching our policy crime prevention consultants to identify improvement opportunities and liaise with key stakeholders in the business to deliver business objectives.

Reporting directing to the Policy Crime Prevention manager, who you will work along side to create an inclusive and professional working environment.

Key Accountabilities

You will be leading the team to handle suspected financial crime investigations effectively and efficiently in line with agreed business objectives, whilst embedding performance development and LV values.

About you

Whether you’re joining us from a similar role or looking to start a career in Fraud, you’ll need to have:

Experience of leading, mentoring, coaching and developing others to succeed.

Be able to create the environment for people to develop and learn.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate complex concepts in a straightforward way.

Able to influence and lead through change, embedding at all levels.

Ability to identify and solve problems with own initiative through balanced decision-making skills

Competent in Microsoft Office, predominately Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Desirable

General understanding of bodies, legislations and regulations that govern financial services, specifically personal lines insurance and fraud/financial crime.

Good understanding of Data Protection Acts and GDPR, the relevance to fraud investigations including the NIM framework.

Comprehensive working knowledge of personal lines insurance policies and/or claims with a best practice approach.

Good knowledge of fraud indicators, key performance and key risk indicators.

Experience of operational fraud fighting, investigation techniques and interviewing methods with awareness of supporting counter-fraud tools.

Manage complaints and support consultants with complaints including root cause investigations and resolutions.
